At Gnosis, we’re passionate about work-life balance for our team and supporting the wider communities they are part of, particularly the local sports community. Believe it or not, when we aren’t finding innovative solutions for our clients, the Gnosis team has a few avid amateur athletes in its midst!
When Gnosis started out 4 years ago, our CEO (and resident triathlete), Neil Lupsic, was asked by the Bermuda Bicycle Association to start a junior cycling team in Bermuda. The island is bursting with junior cycling talent however, there weren’t enough teams for the kids to join. So, we decided to start one!
Our first junior cyclists were Liam Flannery, and Nick and Alex Pilgrim. We paired them with some great master riders (if we do say so ourselves!) - Neil Lupsic (Gnosis CEO), Tyler Butterfield, Alan Mooney, Pete Crayford, Corey Brunton (Gnosis COO), and since then, we’ve expanded the junior cycling program by adding 6 new junior riders in 2023, sponsoring the junior cycling kit and even competing with the kids and sponsoring Gnosis rides!
Speaking on the cycling program, Neil Lupsic comments, “As passionate cyclists ourselves, we knew this was something our company wanted to be a part of, even though our business was only just starting out at the time.
Building healthy habits and being part of a community are essential parts of life for kids, and we’re thrilled to see our junior cycling program growing and expanding, year after year. We look forward to lots more races and sporting events as a team in the future.”
Along with our junior cycling initiative, Gnosis proactively supports numerous sporting events across the island, including hosting races for the Bermuda Bicycle Association, various triathlon races, and the Bermuda Squash National Championship.
Gnosis also sponsors Olympic athlete, Dage Minors, who recently became the first Bermudian to run a sub-four-minute mile, and we’re thrilled to support his progress and training.
